Whippet is a Wiltshire based courier company. We provide a secure and confidential SameDay Courier service to UK based business and professionals. Our company was set up in 2007 and has earned the trust of many local and national companies, including some big household names, all of whom have been clients of ours for many years.
We are the same day delivery specialists and our speedy courier services are available to business on a scheduled or on demand basis.
"When you send your consignments with us there is no hub system, and your consignment does not change vehicles. We simply collect from your specified location and deliver direct to your client or customer".
Our drivers
Not just anyone can drive for Whippet Couriers. All our drivers are interviewed on an individual basis to establish their suitability and to ensure their ability to deliver a high quality service to all our customers. All our drivers are contactable at all times and carry photo ID badges and are professional couriers (not just people with vans). We pride ourselves on the quality and reliability that our business offers and that is why every one of our drivers are carefully selected and checked before being allowed to drive for Whippet Couriers.
Our vehicles
We operate a small fleet of new vehicles ranging from Renault Kangoo vans that can carry 1 UK or Euro Pallet up to 600kgs. These are suitable for one pallet but are mainly used for document and smaller parcel deliveries around the town or city. If you have multiple packages to send or if you need larger items delivered then our LWB Renault Trafic vans have a 6m3 load area and are ideal for a carrying a couple of pallets. All our vehicles carry contactless payment cards to save time at tolls and all are fitted with GPS, Satellite Navigation, Internet and Hands Free Mobile, this equipment allows us to keep journey times to a minimum and give live updates to clients throughout your consignments journey.
